television

Yesterday, I read an article in the newspaper that on average, a person spends about 30 hours a week watching television. This average was 20% more during the holiday season. While those earthlings are so muddled in front of their tube (who wouldn’t?!…with a subscription from Direct TV…30 hours isn’t enough!) I, in my most mandalãn pursuit, is busy learning Finnish and dabbling over my mandala. I need more than 30 hours a week in this “new-found hobby” LOL and another 30 hours infront of my monitor. LOL
Back in my toddler years…I rather watch TV than playing with other kids on our block. Then, when I started going to school…I thought watching television was the best drug I can’t get enough of…I would spend myself 30 minutes answering all my homework (sometimes I answer them after class so that I have lesser time to do it at home…you know! LOL) and after my mom checked all my correct answers…I would be forever giddy for having the television all for myself! haha! If I get bored, I would play my favorite Disney flicks again and again.
But now, I could barely sit down infront of the TV (except with Barack Obamababy’s inauguration…I can’t afford to miss it. The pre-inauguration was WOWsome. LOL
The star-studded inauguration brought forth a great way in which television junkies interact—through watching television. I heart Bono! I adore Obama! gObama!!!
CNN reported 13.9 million streams by 11:45 a.m., up from a previous live-streaming high of 5.3 million streams on election day. as more and more users flock to the online to watch programs or events that are normally broadcasted on cable network like Directv
I cringe every time people tell me how busy their lives are but then, they are somehow totally up-to-date with anything going on of 10 different Directtv shows. Yeah!!!
Telkarri is television in Finnish
